How Artistan collects, uses, protects, and shares information when you use the platform.
Information we collect
We collect account details, creator profile information, onboarding and payout details, support messages, uploaded content metadata, subscription records, payment references, provider statuses, access events, device information, cookies, and security logs needed to operate Artistan.
How we use information
We use information to create accounts, show creator profiles, deliver memberships, protect gated content, process and reconcile payments, support users, review creators, prevent fraud, enforce policies, meet legal obligations, and improve reliability.
Payment information
Safepay acts as a payment processor for hosted checkout. Artistan stores payment-related metadata such as internal payment ID, provider reference, amount, currency, payment status, webhook status, and ledger information. Artistan does not store full card credentials, PINs, or one-time passwords.
Cookies and analytics
Artistan may use cookies and similar technologies for sign-in, session security, remembering account state, measuring basic service performance, and detecting abuse. Do not use Artistan if you cannot accept required session cookies.
Sharing and retention
We share only the information required with payment, hosting, storage, support, compliance, legal, and security providers. Financial, payout, tax, dispute, and security records may be retained even after account deletion where required for legitimate business or legal reasons.
Security practices
We use practical technical and operational controls appropriate for an early-stage platform, including hosted payment checkout, signed media access, role-based access, and server-side payment confirmation. No online service can guarantee absolute security.
Your rights
You may request access, correction, or deletion of eligible personal information. Some records cannot be deleted immediately where retention is required for payments, disputes, fraud prevention, compliance, or accounting.
