Creator Terms
Additional terms for creators who publish and earn through Artistan.
Onboarding and review
Creators must provide accurate legal name, display name, contact details, content category, payout destination, content description, and any requested identity or business verification information. Monetization may remain disabled until Artistan completes review.
Content ownership
Creators keep ownership of their uploaded content but must own it or have permission to publish and sell access to it. By uploading, creators allow Artistan to host, display, protect, and deliver that content to eligible users.
Creator responsibility
Creators are responsible for descriptions, benefits, fulfilment, support for their audience, intellectual-property compliance, accurate payout details, tax records, and compliance with laws and payment-provider requirements.
Commission, ledger, and payouts
Artistan may deduct a platform commission and record gateway charges before calculating creator net earnings. Ledger balances are visible in the creator/admin workflow. Payouts are subject to minimum thresholds, review, holds, disputes, refunds, chargebacks, and payment-provider settlement timing.
Holds and enforcement
Artistan may hold payouts, reject monetization, suspend accounts, remove content, or require additional information if there is suspected fraud, prohibited content, dispute risk, identity risk, copyright concern, or payment-provider concern.
Recordkeeping
Creators should keep records of their business, content permissions, subscriber benefits, payout account, tax obligations, and communications needed to resolve disputes.
